This is really a tough contest! Am I limited to a single vote? I agree wholeheartedly with your choice of contenders. Unfortunately, each is attended by thousands (millions?) of disciples, which is even scarier. Thanks for your thoughtful commentary on the current state of the world.

Thank you, Janice. You note that I didn't manage to cast a vote among the Four Horsemen of Atrocity -- a clever scheme by a writer to avoid commitment and leave the tough choice to readers.

Rex, how tragic and frightening that there could not be a more appropriate contest for our time. When one combines the utter horror unleashed by these 4 men it is beyond devastating. Happy holidays to you and your whole family. I always look forward to Saturday mornings when your column comes out.
