I believe it’s a proven fact that travel opens minds and all the attributes of liberalism. You and I can thank our fathers for that. I see in another comment that you’ve been to Alaska? Wonderful!
Alaska has become my 49th state to visit — yes, a number that is thanks to the Smith Brothers’ wanderlust, which we seem to have inherited. Brown bears and eagles and whales and glaciers — oh my! We used a NatGeo/Lindblad expedition — a small ship with lots of naturalists and Zodiacs — and it was great. Maybe Polynesia next?
Never been to Hawaii! (Ken and Jan honeymooned there.) Thanks to the Smith brothers' wanderlust, I got to half the states before I was 18, and I've gotten the rest, except for that one, since then. Have you been to South America? I'm thinking that's next...
Maybe you should attribute that wanderlust to A.D. yes, I’ve been to Argentina. Loved it. Buenas Aires, wine country—fabulous, but it’s just SO far. I’ve taken that cruise Ken and Jan are taking, and then John and I spent 30 days in Argentina. Dinner at 11:00. Ha

What’s the 1 you haven’t visited?

Welcome back. What a wonderful vacation! I hope to get to Alaska before all the glaciers melt.
